Sara Ramirez is a popular Mexican-American actor, singer and music producer. Sara Ramirez was brought up by an American mother, and faced a lot racial taunts and caused her to feel uncomfortable. When she went to an event at school and was given the highest praise for her singing at the age of 9, the girl began to grow more confident. Not only did it boost her confidence but her ambitions transformed. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. At the age of 23, her first Broadway show with Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both her big break. The role in The Lad of The Lake is her greatest break, earning herself an award called the Tony Award in addition to praise from critics for her performance. The following year she was made the lead character the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame.
