Cassandra Monique Batie also known as Andra is a American R&B and soul the singer/songwriter. The singer has received many awards, like an Grammy Award a Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award along with nominations for an Academy Award. Andra Day is a powerful artist and songwriter with a unique voice. She isn't merely a throwback R&B expert. Her roots in gospel jazz as well as the blues displayed with ease and finesse are passed on to the current. The album she released her debut, Cheers To The Fall (2015) is an immediate success in the genre of R&B/hiphop that earned her a host of Grammy and Academy Award nominations. Stand Up for Something (2017) was her contribution to Marshall's soundtrack earned both accolades. Andra is born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. After growing up living in San Diego and surrounding areas, she began performing in the church and was enrolled into at the School of Creative and Performing Arts. Growing up, Day listened to contemporary R&B songs and eventually pop. But her soul was always drawn to classical soul and jazz singers. An important break occurred in the form of a concert she gave was noticed by Kai Millard Morris who subsequently took some of Day's music to her husband Stevie Wonder. Motown famous Adrian Gurvitz was introduced to Day by the Motown legend. Day joined forces with Gurvitz's Buskin label as well as Jeffrey Evans' Buskin record company, gained a cult following on YouTube and signed to Warner Bros. in 2012. Billie Holiday (2020), an autobiography of the career of Holiday. Andi matichak (born 25th August 1970) is an American actress. She started her career on television shows like Orange Is the New Black, 666 Park Avenue and Blue Bloods. Her debut in film was as Allyson in the horror show Halloween. Andi Mattichak was born on May 3, 1994, in Framingham Massachusetts.
